Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy supports your body's innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself, helping to relieve stress and build your underlying energy.

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is gentle and effective on physical, mental and emotional issues.

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is a gentle and holistic method that is part of osteopathy, which encompasses the whole body but is particularly focused on the craniosacral system. This physiological system includes the skull bones (cranium), vertebral bodies, sacrum (sacrum), brain and spinal cord membranes, as well as cerebral and spinal cord fluid (liquor), which protects the central nervous system. The craniosacral system influences other important physiological systems such as the endocrine, nervous and muscular systems.

How does craniosacral therapy work

The basis of this form are the fine rhythmic movements of the craniosacral system. These can be felt throughout the body. The "Breath of Life" is the power behind the movements that allow the body to regulate and regenerate.

Craniosacral therapy is body work in which the client is treated with the utmost care, freedom from values, mindfulness and personality. Human health is supported and resources are strengthened so that positive changes can take place. Gentle touches and impulses get the inner rhythm flowing again, which means that the body's self-healing powers work better and the nervous system comes into the best possible balance.

Craniosacral Therapy can be used on anyone, young or old, even if they are in a very painful or frail condition.

course of a treatment

Each session is individual and based on your needs. During the first conversation we talk about your goals, expectations and wishes. Everything should have room and space to put together an individual program.

Most of the time you work in comfortable clothing on a massage table, sometimes sitting down. The craniosacral techniques are gentle and gentle. The pressure is seldom stronger than the weight of a hand to find both the resources and the limitations in the craniosacral system. With presence, patience, mindfulness and an open heart we follow the body and it shows us what it needs. So that the body can better exercise its self-regulating functionality again.
